Our mission is to carry out research and provide expertise in the field of legal and economic policies and implementation in the context of global challenges and international standards in partnership with state bodies, civil society, national and international stakeholders.

The Center has been established in response to the need to enhance international relations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of science, economics and law; to build the academic capacity of the faculty of the School of Law and Public Policy; to develop solutions of diverse economic and legal problems within interstate associations, in which the Republic of Kazakhstan is an active participant; and to conduct joint academic and economic projects with academics and research entities on the international level.

Y.Omirzhanov studies problems of the modern state and law, deals with the problems of humanrights and the development of civil society in Kazakhstan. He is also a member of a work team of the research project on the problems of studying socially significant diseases in Kazakhstan.
He is the author of over one hundred publications in Kazakh, English and Russian, including three monographs, one textbook and four tutorials.

Co-founder of the Kazakhstan Association of International Law. He is the author of more than 70 publications, including a monograph and two textbooks.

Senior lecturer, development officer and researcher at the Eurasian Center for Economic and Legal Research of Narxoz University (Kazakhstan).
As an academic and practitioner, she has worked on a variety of human rights issues with particular focus on equality and discrimination. She has been a speaker at high-level international fora organized by the OSCE ODIHR, the European Commission, the Council of Europe, the UNODC.
She has done research and advocacy work in the areas of combating discrimination and hate crime, policing methods and migration policies. As advocacy officer and educational expert, she has developed and published guidelines and training programs for national authorities, local government representatives and communities. Olena holds an MA in Human Rights from the Central European University.
Areas of interest: Human Rights, Equality and Non-Discrimination, Hate Crimes, Advocacy, International Humanitarian Law.
