Distance learning gives an opportunity to attend classes 24/7, without leaving the house. Based on the capabilities of telecommunications and the Internet, distance learning allows teachers and students to interact with each other in a distance.

Classes take place on-line, each student has an access to a virtual classroom, where you could get the materials of the subjects, analyze examples of task solutions, get recommendations for self-study, take a test, use the web-links to related materials and discuss difficult issues with the teacher.


Distance Learning Features

Students, using distance learning technologies, have the right to determine the time and place for the study of subjects and the implementation of practical work on the subject, not limiting themselves to the strict framework of classroom schedules.

Training materials are available in non-standard form: instead of the usual lecture material students receive video lectures, video presentations, many links to additional resources. Practical exercises allow students to form professional skills in the studied subjects.

Current examinations in disciplines studied are carried out in various forms, including testing, essay writing, video shooting, teamwork, comparative analysis, and many other forms.

Key to success of a student in the selection of distance learning is - disciplined and strict adhered to syllabus and training path.

The duration of the academic periods of study

Based on higher education is carried out for 2 years. Each year consists of two academic periods (autumn session and the spring session). Periods of organization of the session are determined by the academic calendar for each academic year.

When classes begin?

Classes for students studying through the distance educational technology begin according to the academic calendar of the academic year. Academic calendar is posted on the University website by 25th of August of each new academic year.


How do the classes hold?

  • Distance learning has the Distance Learning format (on-line) and contact learning format (exams).
  • The academic year consists of two academic periods lasting for 10 - 15 weeks each. Each academic period ends with exams.
  • After the students’ enrolment, the distance learning center conducts introductory sessions on questions about the study. Each student is provided with a login and password to access the educational portal of the University.
  • Students have to work weekly on the portal, fulfil the tasks stated by the disciplines. Tasks of the disciplines have certain deadline dates.
  • Examination session is held 2 times a year and lasts for 2 weeks, attendance of classes is optional. Students take exams remotely. Students, who have completed the program fully, receive a National Diploma in a standard format.


How long does it take to complete the tasks?

Education at the University requires considerable effort. It needs to be considered that the study of theoretical materials and completing tasks require a lot of time. It all depends on the student's abilities and level of educational background, motivation, self-discipline.


Who will assist the student in distance learning?

After the enrolment, all students will have an introductory course on the distance learning system. Also learning video courses are posted on the Internet portal. Throughout the study period the learning process is accompanied by staff of the distance learning center, who will be available at any time.


How can the tuition fee be paid?

Tuition fee should be paid in advance. Tuition fees for the whole period is fixed.


Will it cost additional for training materials and consulting with teachers?

Training materials, consultation with teachers during the training do not require additional payment.


How does the final state attestation hold?

Final state attestation (state exam, defense of the final thesis is conducted at the University in a presence of the student.)


What kind of diploma do receive the students who studied remotely?

After completion of study, students receive a National Diploma in a standard format in where the form of the learning is not specified.
